Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide superior service to our clients by promptly responding to their inquiries and addressing their insurance needs in a manner that ensures client satisfaction.

• Review all assigned client files prior to renewal to assess coverage and recommend changes when necessary in accordance with the account review/risk management processes and procedures. Inform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs.

• Actively develop account sales for assigned clients by soliciting additional policy sales in a manner consistent with our agency marketing plans.

• Keep producers fully informed of all important activities on their accounts including being sensitive to potential problems and informing management accordingly.

• Underwrite and place individual risk situations to ensure they meet our agency’s standards and those of the companies we represent.

• Make personal contact with the marketing department to obtain best markets for all new and renewal business. Perform all necessary rating sufficient for policy quote and/or issuance.

• Binds insurance coverage and prepares insurance binders. Reviews policies, identifies deficiencies and determines appropriate level of coverage, thus reducing our E&O Exposure

• Complete applications on our client’s behalf for all Commercial Lines coverage, including price quotations and comparisons, for all the companies we represent.

• Fully utilize the capabilities of the agency management system including consistent and thorough documentation of all activities with client interactions/communications for E&O purposes.

• Maintain individual customer files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company, including preparing policy documents.

• Assist Producers and service staff with new business transactions, renewal processes, and servicing of existing and new accounts.

• Perform additional functions at the direction of Agency Management

• Excellent ability to speak  in English & Russian and/or Ukrainian

• Ability to work in a team environment

Job Experience/Qualifications:

​

• Minimum High school diploma required & some college preferred

• Previous insurance industry experience is favorable
